Garret thinks he will try his hand
at oil painting. This is my preparatory drawing where I have figured out the arrangement
of my darks and lights (values) of the subject drawn on a prepared masonite
panel. Also you can see my reference materials here as well.
In the background you can see an
oil clay sculpture of the same subject matter I did years ago with a light
source upon it. I will use this to further help me study the light effects on
this figure for the painting.
